the Leasing Process

 

The Leasing process for Summer 2026 consists of three sections 

 

Application

All prospective residents must fill out and complete a leasing application.

 

Background Check

As part of the application, all prospective residents must e-sign for us to complete a Seattle Criminal Background Screening. 

 

Your Lease Offer

After you have completed an application and your background check is successful, we then send out leasing offers!


Step 1: Create an Account

To start an application, click the Apply Button in the header. On the new webpage that opens, create an account by filling in your personal information. 

Step 2: Complete the Application

When completing the application, please make sure to double-check all information entered.

 

Step 3: Pay the Application Fee

Application Fee: $20

 

This fee is to cover the cost of the background screening process and the processing of the lease agreements. 


Step 4: Sign and Submit the Application

After successful payment, don't forget to triple-check your info and submit the application. We won't know you are interested in housing if you don't fully submit the application. 

Step 5: Background Screening

When we receive a completed application, we will review the application and process the background screening. The background screening can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 7 days to complete. You will receive emails throughout the process with updates on your status. 

Step 6: Lease Offer!

After a successful screening is completed, a lease offer will be generated for your review. Please make sure to read the lease agreement and the cancellation terms. When you sign, you are financially responsible for your lease!

 

You will have 48 hours to review and sign the lease offer presented. If you do not sign within that 48 hours, your lease offer will be rescinded. 


Step 7: Sit back and relax

YOU DID IT! You signed your lease and we countersigned. You officially have housing! After we countersign your lease, we will send out further information about your ResidentPortal, Payments, Roommate Matching, etc.
